As for me I added 6,85 miles and was able to reach the starting cemetery with .25 to spare . . . WA-HOO! (6.60 miles - 6.85 miles = +.25 past the cemetery). #goalachieved246.45

    My original goal today was 8 miles, but ended with 9.65. When I wanted to stop at 8 miles I realized ever step I added today was one more step to achieving my goal of reaching the starting cemetery. Don't stop now, keep adding miles and you too will achieved your goal. (16.25 miles - 9.65 miles = 6.60 more miles to reach the cemetery). #dontstopnow

    Hey there! The graveyard is still visible on the race page map. Switch to Satellite view (top right) and zoom in over the starting line of the race. You'll see the graveyard on the right. :)

    Hey @Ms.COCO! When the race starts tomorrow, you'll log your miles (either here on the race page, or via an email you'll receive). You can run anywhere you'd like! Simply log those miles and your avatar will advance on the map. :)

Welcome to the Spooktacular Irish Run!

Step up to the starting line if you dare! This 123.1-mile virtual route starts at the Dungard Graveyard in Roscrea Co. Tipperary. From there, you'll race Northeast around Ireland, passing five castles and a cemetery on your way to the finish.

To participate, racers will log daily training miles to advance personal avatars along the route. Miles can be run or walked anywhere, anytime between September 23 and October 26. Intentional miles only -- no step counting.

Fleet Feet Sports will receive all registration fees less Racery’s tech and support fee and Paypal processing fees.

Some general Racery guidelines:

Run anywhere you want. Then log miles and see yourself move on our map and leaderboards. Catch a Google street view of your virtual locale, then cheer your real fellow racers!

We've got racers all over the globe! To keep everyone on the same page, we've come up with some handy guidelines:

No step counting!

Only running miles please! (NOTE: miles on a racer's personal log are for all races they are in, over all sports)

Please don’t upload mileage in bulk! This affects race stats. Any backdated mileage should be attributed to the appropriate day using the Log Miles tab.

Please only backdate mileage for a race up to two weeks in the past.

Only mileage added before the race officially closes on October 26th at 23:59:59 EST will count in the race leaderboards.
